Book club, 4

So, it looks like the book for November is The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. At least, I assume so given that the blog poll doesn't want to divulge its many mysteries (like the results, for example).

Is it too much to ask that blog polls be of high quality, flawless, and completely free?

John Galt, what post date would you like to shoot for?

LOL

I think I typed about the same thing when a book club was first suggested. I had mixed results, as I kept looking at the work of art as a textbook. :-)

If anyone is intersted (i'm full of opinions today - go figure). I'm close to halfway through and I very much enjoy the story.

Happy reading.

enduring: it's The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon.

L: you're the book club master. it's not a heavy read. maybe 2 weeks? if anyone objects, then we can go longer. and let's do the discussion posts on your site.

It may take people a while to get a copy of the book and read it, even if it's an easy read. And I kind of like the idea of one official club title a month, so maybe we should go for a date more at the end of the month. Let's say the 27th. That way people can read it over Thanksgiving break...
