The new look

What do I have to do to get someone to say, "Groovy new look, L!"?

So, I've made a few changes and I'm not fully persuaded that I like all of them. Do you like the expandable comments on the homepage? I'm not sold. I'm thinking about taking them off. Feedback? Anything else better or worse?

Okay, AtP and I have been drooling over all the cool changes, and we're both very jealous that you have all the cool blog toys. We're just so overwhelmed that we weren't certain we of the lowly, boring blogsites would be welcome to talk on a place of such exceeding brilliance and panache.

So, "Groovy new look, L!" And by the way, you needed it since your blognym was sort of, well, monosyllabic...

Nice look except the amateurish drop-shadowing in the blog title.

The site does look nice. It is not out of malice that I did not express appreciation - I am just ignorant.

I like the new look and the hiding comments. Maybe you could put a "Post comment" link showing when the comments are hidden.

One thing I don't like--in the dropdown comments you there are no hyperlinks or photos with the names--you have to go into the "post a comment" screen in order to find them.

I agree. The trick is that the expandable comments are a function of an atom feed, and therefore they are subject to all a feed's limitations. I don't know why feeds don't include avatars and links, but apparently they don't.

FYI, if anyone is interested in doing an expandable comment section on your blog, the hack I used is from here.
