Update from Hel-L-

Residency is hard. Last year was a cake walk compared to this year. So, there hasn't been much time for blogging. I hope everyone is happy and good.

:-)

My family is doing well, thanks for asking. The kids are happy and cute and amazingly smart. The Mrs. is even MORE happy, cute, and amazingly smart, somehow.

As far as gay issues go, I'm in a pretty happy place. Still ardently gay and ardently Mormon. And by ardently gay, I mean I see guys all the time that catch my eye. But, I couldn't be happier than I am (and I mean that quite literally).

In a few weeks it will be my blog anniversary, and it's sort of amazing for me to reflect on where I've been and where I am, where other people I've met have been and where they're at. It's all quite a testament to the gospel, really. I went from hundreds of posts in year to less than one a month lately, and I suppose that's just a part of life... moving on to new experiences. But, if there's anything I can do or say to help anyone out, let me know.

All the best!!

Hi -L-,

Good to hear from you. Glad things are going swimmingly and everyone is cute and smart...

Someday you should blog again. I may teach seminary and need some fun stories.

Love,

Hooray! I get to be the first comment!

Happy anniversary or almost anniversary!

I hope residency doesn't eat you alive! I've heard it is the best of times and the worst of times in medical school. I really can't wait to get into that!

I'm glad to hear things are going well and that you're family is still thriving. You've always been a great example and I admire you a lot! Keep being you!

Happy Anniversary to you, and your little family L! I am so very happy you and your wife and family are doing great~ As for the last year in residency...Try to get some sleep!LOL! It will be over soon, and you'll be in a practice situation and my advice is still.. try to get some sleep:).( or to watch a whole movie with your wife) Dr. H and I while dating, never saw one movie all the way through cause someone was always in labor!

I have seen how you have grown and it's a "beautiful thing" as we say in the biz. I hope you continue to reach new heights of happiness and love. love, kittywaymo

I'm sorry that you're so busy... hopefully someday soon it won't always be that way. I hope you find the time to adequately appreciate the cute and smart around you.

I miss your blogs.

Happy bloggiversary - with best wishes for many more.

Hello L. I thought I would check out your blog. Unfortunately your blogging carreer has been sabotaged. My condolences to you. However, you sound as busy as my husband. Coming from one who knows, this could be a blessing in disguise--you'll now be able to spend the time you would have dedicated to your blogging with the "cuties" you are so fond of...as it should be!!! :o)
All the best to you and yours,
Jeni (the new companion of your old companion!LOL)

I'm glad to hear that you're doing well! It seems that we're in kind of a parallel place right now, and it feels good. Maybe I should write an update on my blog as well . . .

Great to hear you are in a good place. I hope some day all of the members of this B.O.B. can say the same -- or at least most of them ("all" is a bit unrealistic).

Happy Anniversary! And thank you for all you have contriubted. It has been significant.

Congratulations on your success and happiness. Keep your head up through residency...I can say that I can relate. Thanks for being here and for sharing a little success with me. I needed to read it myself to believe it and it has given me hope that the journey I have already started doesn't have to end badly, but that I can have all the things I want in life, including a family. My blog is new and likely horribly boring, but what can I say, I'm a novice. dusk2dawnmormon.blogspot.com
